Statement: The Department of Education has recommended that the primary level admission to Government and Government aided schools should be done purely random selection and not by admission tests. This is necessitated as the number of admission seekers are much more than the available seats. Courses of Action: I. The Government should instruct the private school also to follow the same practice. II. The Government should set up an independent body to regulate the primary level admissions. III. The schools should be asked to select student only from those who stay in the neighboring areas of the school.
